Eerikkilä's story begins in Hirsihovi in 1949
Historical Villa Hirsihovi is the first and original building in Eerikkilä. It was designed by architect Einari Teräsvirta from Vyborg who won gold in gymnastics in the 1948 Olympics, the same year he designed Villa Hirsihovi.
750 logs of wood from the surrounding forest of Eerikkilä was used to build Villa Hirsihovi. Villa Hirsihovi opened in the 25th of September 1949.
Brand New Villa Hirsihovi
Brand new Villa Hirsihovi was reopened in August 2019. The fully renovated atmospheric building has now restored to its former glory. The high-quality, 50s style decorated log building has 10 bedrooms (beds for 1-3 persons), 26 beds together. In addition, there is more accommodation room in Valmentajakerho (Coach club) with 4 single bedrooms.

You can see the best lake views from almost every window of the building and the small traditional sauna by the lake is just next door with additional charge if you want to relax and take a dip in the water. In the basement amenities include a washing machine and a dryer.
The building is suited especially for group events and the entire building will be rented out for the use of one group only.
