Eerikkilä Sport & Outdoor Resort is organising the second World Floorball Summit in September 10th in cooperation with the IFF and Finnish Floorball Federation. The event aims to create an environment for the international sports community to discuss the development of floorball as well as current trends in coaching. The event will be held at Eerikkilä, but it is also possible to participate online.
Speakers at the first World Floorball Summit will include: Miikka Palvalin, Post-doctoral researcher (Tampere University), Marko Haverinen, Director of Testing Lab (Varala High Performance Training Center and Tampere Sports Academy), Louise Khng, Senior Manager, Coaching Development at CoachSG, Sport Singapore, Kaarina Vuori (Finnish Floorball Federation’s President) and John Liljelund, Secretary general (IFF).
Experts of Eerikkilä Super Cup Finals will be Kati Eteläpää, Floorball Coach in Czech women’s national team, Jarmo Härmä, Head Coach of the Finnish U19 Men’s Floorball National Team and Finnish Floorball Federation’s coach educator and Tapio Hämeen-Anttila, Floorball Coach in TPS women’s league team in Finland. This year the World Floorball Summit will take place in connection with Eerikkilä Super Cup matches and the event will have a special focus on game analysis and development through knowledge-based coaching. The theme of the English-language seminar is “Knowledge-based coaching and game analysis behind the development of floorball”. Also TUPLA+ street floorball finals will be played in Eerikkilä same day.
